The saying is, when it rains, it pours. But not according to my daughter. If you asked Claire she’d say, “When it rains, worms come out and you need to rescue them before they die.”

True, it’s not as short and catchy as the original, but Claire and I agree it’s more fun.

On our 30 minute walk in the rain today we rescued dozens and dozens or our wiggly earth-turning friends.
And then we returned home for a hot shower and fuzzy pjs – because we earned it.
